On Friday, March 24. Lawson High School held the 37th Annual Academic Letter Ceremony to honor students who have attained excellence in academic achievement. To be eligible, a student must have a 3.63 (weighted) cumulative grade point average after at least three semesters of high school. Those students receiving the honor for the first time received a chenille letter in the shape of the Lamp of Light and a gold bar. In succeeding years of eligibility, students receive a gold bar to place on the chenille letter. This year we honored 36 Sophomores, 37 Juniors, and 33 Seniors.
