The LHS Cardinal Book Committee sponsored a Merry Movie Event to collect warm weather items for those in need in the Lawson Community. Students enjoyed The Polar Express movie and a hot cocoa bar. Over 30 items were donated! #WeAreLawson
In Mrs. Nutter's 5th grade science class the students are investigating how shadow lengths changed based on the position of the sun. They used a flashlight, ruler, Lego man and a protractor to gather data and graphed their results.
Don't forget about the Christmas lighting event sponsored by the @Lawson Chamber of Commerce and the KC Chiefs meet and greet this Saturday, December 3. Mark your calendars!

Our 31st Annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Dinner was a huge success! Thank you to our sponsor, the Lawson Board of Education and to all the groups that made it possible - LHS National Honor Society and OPAA food services for serving our seniors, Durham Bus Services for providing transportation, Southwest Singers for the amazing entertainment, and the LMS Computers class for the beautiful placemats.
