Hazard Mitigation
As part of our application for federal grant monies for a FEMA 361 Safe Room, the Lawson R-XIV School District has developed a Mitigation Strategy for Tornadoes and Severe Thunderstorms.  This strategy will become part of the Mid-America Regional Council’s (MARC) Hazard Mitigation Plan through an amendment to the plan and Board adoption.  At this time we are asking for public participation through review of the local mitigation strategy.  Please take the opportunity to review the mitigation strategy here and comment, if necessary, by using the form below.  You may access the entire MARC Hazard Mitigation Plan through this link.  Thank you.
