Sign up for LAWSON@lerts and get important information about the Lawson Schools sent as text messages directly to your mobile phone, wireless PDA, pager or email address. For example if school will be dismissed in the middle of the day for weather, then a message will go out on LAWSON@lerts directly to your phone or computer. This will not replace existing methods of school communication, but does add an instant communication for emergency information, school closings, early dismissal, and school reminders. Signing up for LAWSON@lerts is easy and free. On the Lawson R-XIV Website, http://www.lawsoncardinals.org/ , click on the Lawson Alert button on the right side of the front page or paste the following address in your browser; http://my.textcaster.com/ServePopup.aspx?id=937 and complete the simple 2-step process.
Once signed up, you’ll receive reminders and announcements for each School Building you choose. You may choose one building or all three, plus you may choose to get messages about the Cardinal Activities & Athletics. Emergency information, school closings, early dismissals, game rain outs, and school reminders will all be information shared via LAWSON@lerts. District Wide announcements will be broadcast through each category, however, when a District-Wide announcement is sent you will receive only one text/email no matter the number of categories you choose.
